The Tir a Mor Scout Lodge is located in the small village of St Brides with a great location to Ogmore-by-Sea and the Heritage coast walks. The lodge is surrounded by woodlands and is a short walk to the Ogmore Moors. If you wish to undertake back to basic Scouting and lower lever walking then this Lodge is for you. Outside of the hall is a area for fire lighting in the camp fire circle, great area’s for Axe and Saw work, wonder into the woods for shelter building and anything with just getting back to basic’s in all things scouting. As mentioned the hall is in a great location for either a one night stop for DofE expeditions or scout expeditions if walking through or having a base for many local walks.
The Lodge itself
The lodge use to be a scout hall so host’s itself to a large hall, toilets, fully fitted kitchen. The lodge has a supply of table & chairs to be used and various camping and scouting equipment if required along with screen projector and speakers.
Outside of the Lodge.
Within the grounds of the lodge is an area for outdoor gas/ Fire cooking which is under shelter and within the shelter are 2 sinks with running cold water. Also within the shelter is power and lighting so very useful for night cooking as well. We have provided 2 gas cookers, so just need to bring your own gas.
