District Equipment & District Van

The district has a variety of items and equipment which is mainly stored at the Scout Lodge which can be used either at the Scout Lodge or be picked up and transported to your location. Below is a selection of equipment we have on offer but please visit the Scout Lodge page of the website to see what else is available to use.

District Minivan

The district van is available to loan at a reasonable cost of £200 for 7 days , £90 Friday to Sunday or £35 for Day Hire to all scout groups in the district and also outside of the district. If you like to book the Minivan please check the district calendar and if free please book through the form below.

Who can loan the Van?

Any scouts section or group can hire the van. Priority will be given to District group and other organisations but people from outside the district are also welcome.

What can the minibus be used for?

Any Scout event or Scouting purpose. The insurance does not cover non-Scout use.

Who can drive the minibus and van?

Anyone over 25 with a Full driving licence.

Are there any other requirements?

You must bring the van back on-time, clean, tidy and full of fuel. Failure to do so could result in a ban from future use and an extra charge.
