Training
To support you in your first five months of volunteering with the Scouts we have a number of training modules for you to complete.
The modules that make up your getting started training are listed below:
(You can complete these in any order).
The following modules can be completed as independent learning and validated by successfully completing the online assessment at the end of the module.

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
Trustee Introduction
Send all the certificate to Susan.Evans@cardiffandvalescouts.org.uk
Validation
You then need to validate your learning:

This is usually completed by taking part in an Executive Committee Meeting- please ask the Group Scout Leader to let me know that you have done that by emailing Susan.Evans@cardiffandvalescouts.org.uk
We will also need to discuss the ‘check your knowledge’ sections of the Module and discuss your understanding of the GDPR Module.
Attending any training
Once complete please book to attend a validation session or if you would like to find out about any other training that is happening across the scouting area please click on the Area booking tool:
There are sessions run regularly in Tir a Môr District, so easiest to select one of those.
All this training needs to be completed within 5 months.
